Kaiho looked around the cramped compartment for the hundredth time that day. Her eyes met a scene familiar to her, one which she had encountered far too many times in her fifteen years. She’d lived in seven different houses, a youth hostel and two boarding schools, and she’d never been worried about leaving friends behind or settling in to new schools.
